====== G'Vine Gin ======

Produced in the Cognac region of France, G'vine is a four-times distilled gin created from Ugni Blanc grapes. The Ugni Blanc grapes produce a smoother neutral spirit compared to the grain spirit typically used to make gin. The G'vine Floraison ($40) is infused with the vine flower, giving it a very aromatic nose.

Every June, in the South West of France, the vine goes to the 'flowering' cycle when the vine flower becomes the vine fruit, i.e. grapes. This 'flowering ' process lasts just a week or two. The vine flower is very fragile, yet extremely aromatic with rich exotic fruit aromas, peach notes and strong floral fragrances. The vine flower gives the G'vine Floraison its uniqueness and softens the "juniper taste" found in most gin brands.

G'Vine gin is 80 proof (40% ABV) and contains many of the same flavor properties of a standard London Dry gin including: ginger roots, liquorice, green cardamom, cassia bark, coriander, juniper berries, cubeb berries, nutmeg, and lime. However, the infusions of vine flower and fresh botanicals are later blended together and copper-pot distilled to get the smoothness and bouquet found in G'vine Floraison.

Recently, G'Vine has produced a standard London Dry style gin called Nouaison ($45), however it's not listed on their website.

G'Vine is produced by Eurowinegate, a French company founded in 2001 and based in Cognac. The founders are oenologists who have all worked in major corporations and share a combined 45 years of experience in wine & spirits production, sales and marketing.
