The cocktail glass is a stemmed piece of glassware, often called a Martini glass, with a cone-shaped top. Usually, the cone is extended by a thin stem and flat base, but many decorative glasses that exist change the standard look and feel. However, the cocktail glass typically holds 4-6 fluid ounces because they can be purchased in different sizes. A standard cocktail glass yields four ounces of liquid, but larger glasses exist for almost double the fluid ounces.
