Christiania Vodka (~$35) is a product of Norway, distilled six times in a column still, filtered with charcoal then aerated at the Arcus Distillery. The key ingredient for Christiania vodka is organic “Trondelag” potatoes and pure Norwegian water. The “Trondelag” potatoes contribute a sweeter taste to the vodka while the distillation process clears it of impurities.
Christiania has an online community (social network) christianiacrowns.com where members can earn prices by collecting “crowns” by referring new members to the community.
The “Bohemian King” Christian IV (1577-1648) was Norway's most beloved ruler; he founded the city of Christiania (modern day Oslo). Christiania Vodka is named after the city Christian IV founded and the recipe is a version of that of which was once invented by the Norwegian Court 400 years ago. The recipe was based on the multi-distillation process utilized by many vodkas today, including Christiania vodka.
Christiania is distilled at a 200-year-old Arcus Distillery in Norway.
