The Old Fashioned Glass holds between 4-10 fluid ounces (oz.) and may also go by the name “Lowball Glass” or “Rocks Glass.” While the names are almost synonymous, some Old Fashioned Glasses have a bump at the base of the glass, making them slightly more fancy.

For cocktail making, one can interchange a lowball and old fashioned glass. A Double Old Fashioned Glass is usually double the size of the old fashioned for holding more contents.
